The Gaya Polytechnic was established in 2025 by His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as the second Polytechnic in Kano, being a forward-looking institution committed to excellence in technical and vocational education, conceived to offer innovative and industry-driven programmes.

Requirements
- Candidates must possess a good Higher National Diploma in relevant discipline at a minimum of credit level from recognized institutions plus NYSC discharge/exemption certificate/exclusion letter and professional registration. Additional Information: candidates must have evidence of registration with any relevant professional bodies and be computer literate; applicants will be required to produce originals of their certificates and other relevant credentials if invited for interview; photocopies will not be accepted; applicants who are applying to join the Public Service for the first time must be less than fifty years of age at the time of resumption of duty.
