About the Role The Technologist (m/f/d) at ZF Electronics Klášterec is responsible for designing, implementing and improving manufacturing or technical processes to ensure technical readiness of assigned products and to drive continuous improvement across production lines. You will collaborate across functions to optimize, retrofit and introduce new processes while leading projects and maintaining essential documentation. What You'll Do
- Ensure comprehensive technological qualification of assigned products
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes
- Manage line retrofits and optimization (changeover => SMED)
- Introduce new, altered, or relocated manufacturing processes
- Lead and manage assigned projects
- Maintain related operation manuals and documentation
- Plan budgets and investments
- Set up and optimize process parameters on production lines per standards
- Provide on-call technical support to production What We're Looking For
- Technical degree (VŠ/SŠ) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar; NV 194/2022 Sb. §6
- Experience in automated manufacturing technologies (robotic lines, CNC, welding, etc.)
- Experience in optimizing production processes; similar role preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, MES)
- Ability to analyze problems and propose effective solutions
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma
- Experience with assembly processes
- Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949 and other automotive standards
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards
- Strong cross-functional communication
- Project leadership, team organization and deadline discipline
- Experience with industrial robots (KUKA, Stäubli) is a plus
- Proficient English (communication with suppliers); German is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and multitask
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to rapid changes
- Previous automotive manufacturing experience is highly advantageous Nice to Have
