About the Role As a Validation Test Technician at BorgWarner, you will build and assemble dedicated validation test stations and related equipment, prepare test setups, and conduct validation tests. You will use automated monitoring systems to ensure test runs meet specifications, maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement in a lab environment.
What You'll Do
- Build and assemble dedicated validation test stations and related equipment.
- Prepare test stations and execute validation tests.
- Use and maintain automated monitoring systems to ensure test runs align with specifications; operate ancillary systems such as load stands, harnesses, chillers, and high-voltage cabinets.
- Participate in calibration programs and perform preventive and reactive maintenance as a laboratory representative.
- Apply and update all safety guidelines.
- Be responsible for raw test data (measurement results).
- Engage in continuous improvement and maintenance of validation test equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience building and commissioning test stations and related equipment.
- Familiarity with automated monitoring systems and test data collection.
- Ability to operate and maintain auxiliary test equipment (e.g., loading stands, harnesses, chillers, high-voltage cabinets).
- Strong focus on data integrity and accurate recording of test results.
