About the Role Nova Bus is seeking a Technicien(ne) procédés mécaniques to bridge product development engineering with production lines at the Saint-Eustache plant. You will prepare manufacturing documentation, assembly routings and work instructions for assembly lines, supporting the electrification of transportation. What You'll Do
- Write manufacturing documentation (technical notices, procedures, work instructions) to clarify and facilitate assembly on production lines
- Develop tooling and fixtures required for operations using appropriate software
- Document and prepare fabrication drawings (AutoCAD/Inventor) when designing measuring equipment
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize manufacturing operations and during equipment design
- Assist the process engineer in introducing manufacturing deliverables
- Identify root causes of assembly issues and involve necessary resources
- Apply appropriate problem-solving methods
- Analyze or assist engineers in analyzing engineering notes and determine deliverables accordingly What We're Looking For
- DEC in mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bilingual French and English
- Knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Attention to quality and report writing ability; good judgment
- Knowledge of manufacturability concepts and criteria
- Ability to work under pressure, autonomy, analytical mindset
