ENGIE seeks a Technicien.ne en électricité to join the Maintenance Service of Coo-Hydro, within the ELEC & Services Généraux Maintenance team. The role focuses on industrial electrical work at the Coo power complex, contributing to a carbon-neutral future. Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification work on electrical equipment (low and high voltage, instrumentation, automation, etc.).
• Replace and configure measuring instruments, measurement converters, proximity sensors, I/O cards, and related components.
• Troubleshoot panels and switchgear (TGBT) and diagnose malfunctions using DCS system data.
• Locate faults using plans and on-site installations; conduct routine electrical equipment maintenance ( insulation measurements, cleaning, terminal tightening, sensor calibration, functional tests, etc.).
• Carry out tasks under the supervision of the Team Lead and Service Manager.
• In time, prepare service work for the department from a technical and administrative perspective: draft specifications, order parts and services, prepare work permits and lockout/tagout requests, and close out projects.
• Produce reports detailing interventions performed.
• Potentially assume a on-call guard role (one week out of four) in the future; proximity to the Coo site is required (within 10 km by road) or willingness to relocate within 12 months.
• Contribute to ENGIE’s safety culture and promote safe working practices across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electricity/electromechanics or automation, or a CESS in these fields, or proven relevant experience in these domains.

• Experience in industrial maintenance is an asset.

• Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, organization, and teamwork; proactive willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic company.

• Proficiency with Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAP knowledge is a plus.

• Fluency in French (spoken and written) with a basic understanding of technical English.

• Willingness to operate within a role that may include on-call duties and to relocate if necessary to be within commuting distance of the Coo site.

• Note: This position is based at the Coo-Hydro power complex, which includes the Coo pumped-storage plant (1080 MW), three dams (Bütgenbach, Robertville, and on the Vierre at Chiny), a reservoir (Lorcé), and six run-of-river plants (Heid de Goreux, Bévercé, Bütgenbachk, La Vierre, Lorcé, and Stavelot).
