About the Role The purpose of this position is to maintain, service and repair material handling equipment, systems, and products on company premises or at customer sites in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer and company requirements are met; maintaining of vehicle records.
What You'll Do
- Servicing of material handling equipment and maintaining forklift serviceability to specified standards and according to set procedures by delivering quality service/maintenance.
- Perform accurate diagnosis / troubleshooting in event of breakdown; communicate required repairs to customer and/or supervisor.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance and operational data/history by updating information and ensuring records are current.
- Promote service/maintenance programs and provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner.
- Ensure proper communication between self, workshop staff (Field Service Team Leader and Controller) and customer.
- Ensure OHSACT & ASEC requirements are met on company and client premises; maintain a safe work environment by verifying vehicle safety device operations, following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Educational level: 2 - Certificate
- Experience: 4 to 6 years in relevant technical service/maintenance roles
- Languages: English (Professional)
- Certifications: Trade test certificate (Diesel / Auto Electrician / Forklift Technician); Code 8 driver's licence; Valid forklift operator licence
