Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative completion tools.
Partner with the best
You'll set-up and operate on special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe/mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining-centers. You're responsible for fabrication of metallic/nonmetallic parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required. You'll be working with a collaborative team in an innovative, high-technology facility.
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; having working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T); applying basic concepts of algebra and geometry; and calculating and setting controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or entering commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have a NITEC/Higher NITEC, ITI, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Machining Technology, or a related technical discipline. Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) are preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Experience in precision machining of components for the oil and gas industry is preferred. For experienced candidates, hands-on CNC machining experience (CNC Lathe and/or CNC Milling) is required. Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Have knowledge of machining operations, measuring instruments, and machining tolerances. Possess good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
