About the Role ChemTreat seeks a Technician lll, Industrial Water Treatment to support water treatment sales by applying technical knowledge, maintaining and expanding the customer base, and maximizing profitability of assigned accounts. The role requires delivering professional customer and technical service, conducting basic water testing, documenting results, and communicating quantitative data to Account Managers and customers.
What You'll Do
- Regularly perform water analysis and apply appropriate chemical solutions, monitoring effects for additional treatment
- Perform services as dictated by contractual obligations and maintain compliance
- Calibrate pumps and perform repairs to restore chemical feeds
- Monitor product feed rates and adjust the treatment program when gaps are detected
- Provide technical guidance and instruction to junior technicians
- Enter results into software and communicate findings via service reports
- Assist in water-related system improvement projects and monitor product inventories
- Maintain company equipment in good, clean condition
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors of Science; Engineering or technical degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in water treatment, chemical, or adjacent industries
- Technical and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork and leadership
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and knowledge of the company product portfolio and application uses
- Ability to work with limited supervision; strong verbal and written communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent; ability to learn new operating systems
Nice to Have
- Degree in Science/Engineering preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000-$80,000 annually
