Job title: Technician lll, Industrial Water Treatment
About the Role ChemTreat is seeking a Technician lll, Industrial Water Treatment to maintain and expand the customer base by applying basic water treatment solutions and communicating results to Account Managers and customers. This role involves performing water analysis, reporting results, and providing professional technical services to customers and junior technicians.
What You'll Do
- Regularly perform water analysis and apply appropriate chemical solutions, monitor effects, and adjust as necessary to meet contractual obligations.
- Calibrate pumps and perform repairs that restore chemical feeds.
- Monitor product feed rates and adjust treatment programs when gaps are detected.
- Provide technical guidance and instruction to junior technicians.
- Enter results into software and communicate results via service reports to customers and Account Managers.
- Assist in water-related system improvement projects.
- Monitor product inventories and maintain equipment in good, clean condition.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors of Science; Engineering or technical degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in water treatment, chemical or adjacent industries.
- Technical and Analytical skills; strong verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of company product portfolio and application uses.
- Ability to work with only limited supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; teamwork and leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with basic water testing.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical degree preferred.
