Job title: Technician in electrical Maintenance
About the Role Responsible for electrical maintenance of production equipment in a shift-based environment, diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, maintaining system maintenance records, and ensuring safe and continuous operation of machinery and lines. The role requires collaboration with team members and support during planned, preventive, and investment-related services, as well as thorough documentation and energy-saving measures.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in equipment during shifts, following guidance from authorized personnel.
- Maintain records of faults and system maintenance; monitor measurements on equipment and devices.
- Ensure tools and accessories are serviceable; participate in planned, preventive, and investment-related service with team members; inspect safety equipment on machines.
- Be prepared to extend shift if required; assist colleagues with electro-maintenance and transport during services.
- Perform preventive machine inspections; monitor machines and lines and report status to immediate supervisor.
- Monitor factory lighting usage and disconnect unnecessary lights to save electricity.
- Collaborate with a shift colleague in mechanical maintenance to resolve equipment stoppages.
- Maintain internal transport equipment (forklifts and cranes) and operate as needed in production areas.
- Monitor vulcanization process parameters when required; operate autoclaves if trained.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of machines and lines in accordance with norms and technical documentation; participate in regular electro-servicing of production equipment.
- Assist in workshop preparation and repair of subsystems and components; participate in mounting and dismounting equipment.
- Check the technical condition of damaged or repaired devices and keep work area clean and organized.
What We're Looking For
- Secondary education (III or IV degree).
- Ability to work in planned, regular, emergency, and plant-scale service contexts.
- Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance in production settings; able to read and interpret electrical documentation.
- Willingness to cooperate with team members and extend shifts as needed; ability to operate safety equipment.
- Authorized to operate autoclaves (pressure vessels) if trained; ability to operate cranes and forklifts when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; attention to safety and documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with vulcanization processes and monitoring related parameters.
- Prior experience with autoclaves and handling heavy equipment.
