About the Role Join Scania Ibérica as a Technician I in Vialonga, Portugal. You will be part of Scania's industrial vehicle repair team, contributing to the future of sustainable transport by maintaining and repairing our premium trucks, buses, engines and services. - Carry out repairs and maintenance of industrial vehicles, focusing on electrical, mechanical and mechatronic systems.
- Diagnose faults and resolve problems in heavy vehicles.
- Work in a dynamic team and participate in ongoing technical training at Scania's own training school.
- Use IT tools for diagnostics and record-keeping; uphold safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality service. What We're Looking For
- Solid technical competencies in automotive repair, including electricity, mechanics and mechatronics.
- Proven experience in the heavy-vehicle sector.
- Minimum education: level 12 (high school) with technical training in mechanical/mechatronics.
- Strong problem-solving ability; good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team and self-organize; dynamic, positive and adaptable.
- Basic IT literacy.
- Willingness to comply with ethical standards and background checks; aware of ASAE oversight and verification of no property/physical crimes according to public records for finalists. Compensation & Benefits
