Aecon Technical Solutions Inc. ATSI, a key business unit within Aecon Utilities, delivers large-scale telecommunications infrastructure programs, providing end-to-end installation, maintenance, sales, and customer-focused service solutions. Through reliable, high-quality execution across diverse technologies and markets, ATSI plays a critical role in keeping people and businesses connected while supporting the evolution of essential infrastructure.

You will work independently in the field, installing and repairing telecommunications services, solving technical issues, and building strong customer relationships. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working hands-on, learning new technologies, and making a difference in the communities they serve.

What You'll Do Here:

• Safety Conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations for fiber to the home in customers' homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair internet and phone service.
• Install, maintin, and repair internet and fiber network services.
• Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis.
• Be highly adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures.
• Provision and maintain outside plant facilities, including buried and aerial fiber networks
• Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal direction.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Previous customer in home installation and repair experience of any services such as, cable, Satellite TV, phone, or internet.
• Experience with Fiber is an preferred but not required.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a MVR/driving record annually.
• Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Comfortable working in varying heights and spaces.
• Capacity to lift and work with materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Technically inclined and have a desire to learn.
• Must be comfortable working at heights with ladders or bucket truck (training will be provided).
• Occasional travel may be required.

Pay and Benefits:

The expected pay range for this role is $24 - $26 per hour

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
