Job title: Technician - Cylinder Filler
About the Role As a Technician - Cylinder Filler at Linde, you will support cylinder handling and shipment processes, including loading and unloading gas cylinders on route trucks, operating a forklift, and maintaining cylinders. The role involves inventory, order fulfillment, paperwork, and routine tasks to ensure safe, accurate deliveries and efficient operations.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks and trailers.
- Roll cylinders and operate a forklift truck for movement of cylinders.
- Sort empty cylinders by type, check cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and assist with inventory.
- Review customer orders, pull items from full inventory, and load items onto trucks for delivery.
- Perform basic cylinder maintenance such as painting cylinders, labeling cylinders, and cleaning of work area.
- Assist with accompanying paperwork for shipments.
- Complete both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments.
What We're Looking For
- High School Degree / GED.
- 1+ year manufacturing or plant experience preferred.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
