Technician
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection, preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of centrifugal, screw, and scroll chillers under Service Agreements and Warranty Contracts.

Analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to customers and service management.

Execute emergency breakdown services and restoration activities to minimize customer downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

Support repair, retrofit, modernization, and upgrade projects while identifying sales opportunities and referring potential Service Repair (SR), overhaul, and upgrade packages to the sales team.

Achieve productivity, utilization, and service quality targets through efficient planning and execution of field service activities.

Prepare accurate service reports, inspection findings, maintenance records, and repair recommendations in a timely manner.

Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules with customers, facility managers, and site technicians to ensure smooth project execution.

Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to ensure repair works are completed according to Carrier standards and customer requirements.

Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), work permits, and safe working practices.

Maintain proper use, care, and calibration of tools, instruments, and service equipment.

Support sales and operations teams in achieving service revenue, margin, customer retention, and contract renewal objectives.

Participate in technical training programs and continuously enhance technical competency on HVAC and chiller systems.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications
-
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or related fields.

At least 2 years of experience in HVAC, Chiller, or M&E services.

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/chiller equipment is an advantage.

Valid driving license preferred.

Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Basic computer literacy.
