About this role
About the Role Technical Writer responsible for creating, editing, and delivering documentation across projects. The role requires collaboration with global teams, accuracy in HTML/XML, and ensuring timely deliveries in a hybrid setup from Gdansk or Warsaw. What You'll Do
- Create and maintain user and technical documentation, ensuring editorial quality and accuracy.
- Author using Microsoft Office, XML Editors, and create conceptual/flow diagrams in PowerPoint; Microsoft Visio is a plus.
- Work with HTML and XML, and coordinate with publishing/content management systems.
- Use version control (Git), UNIX, and Confluence; manage multiple delivery schedules; pre-empt bottlenecks to deliver on time.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather inputs and ensure deliveries are aligned with finalization activities; collaborate with teams across different time zones.
- Mentor software developers on documentation needs; perform editorial reviews; align with Agile and Lean principles; generate daily/weekly/monthly metrics on effort spent.
- Stay updated on documentation standards and show strong verbal and written communication skills. What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of technical writing experience; strong portfolio or examples.
- Any Bachelor's degree; knowledge of computer science preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and XML Editors; ability to create diagrams with PowerPoint; Visio knowledge a plus.
- Strong HTML/XML proficiency; experience with publishing/content management systems; Git, UNIX, and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work across time zones in a distributed team.
- Comfortable mentoring developers and reviewing documents editorially.
- Familiarity with Agile and lean principles and work metrics. Nice to Have
- Visio experience; exposure to publishing and content management systems beyond basics.
