About the Role Technical Support Engineer – Onboard Systems in Stockholm; second-line support for onboard systems integrated in trains, ensuring they function faultlessly in real time. You will work where data, software and hardware converge to keep trains safe, stable and available. What You'll Do
- Own and drive the resolution of complex, escalated onboard-related incidents
- Analyze logs, track data and diagnostics from onboard train systems
- Reproduce faults and verify solutions in close collaboration with Engineering
- Work with systems integrated in train operation and behavior in service
- Ensure actions are implemented to restore service and prevent recurrence
- Collaborate closely with L1 Support, ITC, V&V, System Engineering and Quality
- Propose and drive improvement actions based on analysis and operational data
- Document insights and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Participate in readiness to handle critical incidents related to rolling stock in service What We're Looking For
- Experience with railway systems such as ERTMS or ATC-2
- Strong experience debugging and analyzing logs and system data
- Background in V&V, system engineering or electrical engineering
- Academic education in electrical engineering, systems science or equivalent
- Analytical with structured problem-solving ability
- Comfortable owning complex incidents and working in real-time environments
- Team player who collaborates across functions
- Clear communication
