About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface between global MS&T Medical Devices, Medical Device suppliers, Technical Development, and manufacturing sites

• Lead analysis of process deviations for Medical Device platforms, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements

• Define and implement technical standards for manufacturing technologies and equipment globally

• Provide subject matter expertise for pharmaceutical processes across multiple sites, products, and technologies

• Drive process optimization, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support product introduction and lifecycle changes

• Support validation, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities across global operations

• Essential Requirements

• University degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, chemistry, or another relevant scientific field

• Minimum three years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing within a regulated environment

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including mechanical production technologies

• Experience with quality and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical production

• Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement sustainable solutions

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment

• Experience working in a regulated medical device environment is considered an advantage

Expected annual base salary range for this role:

• Salary range: EUR 32.060,00 - EUR 59.540,00
• The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral criteria such as relevant skills, competencies, and experience, in accordance with the Novartis pay-setting policy.

In addition to the annual gross salary, employees are also eligible for the following benefits:

• Annual bonus available to all employees: 9% of annual base salary

• Vacation allowance: In 2025, the amount was EUR 2,496 net. For 2026, the amount is EUR 2,678.28 net.

• Company performance award: In 2025, this amounted to EUR 2,538.64 gross, including the winter allowance.

• Voluntary supplementary pension insurance: Novartis Slovenia provides voluntary supplementary pension insurance (5.844% of gross earnings, capped annually at EUR 3,054.65).

• Shift premiums: Shift work (15%), multi-shift work (20%), night work (70%), work on Sundays and public holidays (50%).

• Additional accident insurance: Employees are covered 24/7 during their employment with Novartis in the event of death or disability resulting from an accident.
