About the Role At AIG, this Technical Solutioning Engineer role focuses on leading technology transformation and bridging strategy with execution. You will act as a strategic technical architect for delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and driving scalable, cloud-native engineering solutions, including Gen AI initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end technical architecture for a region or core business applications, aligning with enterprise IT objectives and cloud/hosting, security, data, integration, and DevOps standards.
- Define technology strategy and architecture decisions; translate strategic intent into actionable engineering solutions across the delivery lifecycle.
- Maintain and champion the architecture repository and governance with regional stakeholders and governing boards to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Initiate technology evaluations, drive enterprise-level architecture initiatives, and secure organizational commitment for major infrastructure programs.
- Collaborate with Solution Architecture, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality engineering roadmaps and solutions.
- Drive scalable, secure, and automated platforms leveraging cloud-native architectures and Gen AI capabilities where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- 10–15+ years of experience in application engineering and technology management in large-scale global enterprises or financial services/insurance.
- Strong foundation in modern engineering practices, cloud-native architecture, and delivering complex, scalable software.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technology migrations or architectural shifts; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Disciplined, able to work under tight deadlines and manage high-pressure delivery cycles while maintaining quality.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps; proficiency with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud services; knowledge of Generative AI from application and security perspectives.
- Hands-on experience with open-source frameworks, microservices, Angular/React, Java/J2EE, relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; certifications desirable (TOGAF, AWS, CISSP, SAFe, etc.).

- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Leeds, CISSP, CCC, SAFe for architects and related credentials.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: USD 120,000 – 140,000 per year. Eligible for a bonus under the applicable incentive plan. Actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications. Benefits are available as per US Benefits Overview.
