GENERAL SUMMARY:
Acquire skills to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Performs all duties and responsibilities associated with a manufacturing maintenance team while focusing on Crayola’s goals, objectives and priorities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support production maintenance on all machines in a safe and timely manner with the goal of minimizing downtime.
- Read schematics, diagrams, W/O to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Inspect parts for surface defects
- Verify part dimensions to ensure specifications are correct using a precision measuring tool
- Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools.
- Establish and maintain inventory, records, or documentation systems (EMAINT)
