ROLE OVERVIEW
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets within the Isiolo Region by promoting the Company's products and services, developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and providing technical support to customers. The role is responsible for market development and the execution of sales strategies to maximize market share while ensuring excellent customer service and alignment with Company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the overall sales operations of the Isiolo territory and coordinate all sales activities within the region.
- Achieve periodic sales targets by communicating and implementing plans aligned with regional and Company objectives.
- Manage distributor orders, invoices, debt, credit and inventory levels in line with contractual agreements.
- Recruit, appoint and develop business relationships with new and existing customers to grow market share and brand value.
- Grow market share through Result Demonstration Plot (RDP) methodologies, ensuring brand visibility, timely product distribution and full portfolio availability at outlets.
- Monitor market competition and develop strategies to mitigate competitive threats.
- Prepare and submit weekly route plans and reports, including sales performance, demand forecasts and market intelligence.
- Maintain an accurate customer database and support effective analysis and reporting.
- Manage regional collection and promotional budgets, and ensure compliance with the Company's asset care policy for vehicles and motorcycles.
- Participate in regional meetings and perform any other duties assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Animal Health/Veterinary Medicine, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, or a related field.

Minimum of four (4) years' experience in the industry.

Proven track record in distributor management and route-to-market models.

Valid driver's licence with a minimum of two (2) years' driving experience.

Strong relationship management, negotiation and organizational skills.

High degree of integrity, self-driven with a strong sense of initiative.

Willingness and ability to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
