Job title: Technical Sales Advisor - Aqua
About the Role Own the development of a new aquaculture market in Ghana as a Technical Sales Advisor at Skretting, a Nutreco company. This project-based role is initially one year, with potential to extend or convert based on success and growth. You will work directly with customers and partners to bring Skretting products to market and build a strong commercial/operational foundation.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including establishing relationships with potential distributors, partners, and fish farmers
- Build a strong professional network within the aquaculture industry to support long-term growth
- Support the introduction and positioning of Skretting products in the Ghanaian market
- Provide technical advice and on-site support to customers, ensuring optimal feed usage and farm performance
- Collect market insights and customer feedback to shape market entry and growth strategy
- Travel extensively within Ghana to visit customers and partners
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Science, or a related field with an average of 3-5 years of experience
- Strong commercial mindset and interest in sales/business development
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a developing and unstructured market environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English as well as other local languages (Twi & Ga)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Ghana
- Valid driver’s license
