Technical & Project Director (Real Estate & Property Development)
Overview
A senior leadership role in real estate and infrastructure development, focused on technical excellence and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and completion of real estate development and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones and deliverables
- Supervise contractors, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project quality and progress.
- Review technical designs, project specifications, quotations and contractor deliverables.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective budget control.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Urban & Regional Planning, or a closely related field.
- A Master’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional registration/certification in Nigeria is desirable.
- 15–20+ years of professional experience, including at least 8–10 years in senior management.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, long term development projects or master-planned communities/estates, commercial and mixed-use developments beyond individual building projects.
