We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – Technical Program Manager to lead a complex technology workstream within a large-scale enterprise transformation. This role will serve as the primary leader responsible for driving delivery, execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination for a critical Technical-to-Run (T2R) workstream focused on CMDB implementation, ITSM process transformation, and ServiceNow alignment activities.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical program management expertise, the ability to navigate complex multi-vendor environments, and experience driving enterprise technology initiatives involving infrastructure, service management, and operational transformation. Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management, proactive risk management, technical acumen, and the ability to influence teams and partners to achieve committed outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the Technical-to-Run (T2R) workstream within a large-scale enterprise transformation program.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated workstream plan, ensuring successful delivery against milestones and committed deadlines.

  • Drive execution across technical and business teams while maintaining alignment with overall program objectives.

  • Facilitate workstream planning, dependency management, issue resolution, and decision-making processes.

  • Establish and maintain governance structures, status reporting mechanisms, and executive-ready communications.

  • Ensure successful delivery through effective management of scope, schedule, quality, and outcomes.

  • Attend and facilitate cross-workstream check-ins, working sessions, and program governance meetings as needed.

  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Proactively manage risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, and dependencies across the T2R workstream.

  • Partner closely with other Technical Program Managers and workstream leads to identify and resolve cross-functional RAID items.

  • Escalate critical risks and blockers with actionable mitigation plans.

  • Drive accountability for issue resolution and decision-making across internal and external teams.

  • Ensure dependencies and delivery impacts are clearly communicated and managed across the broader program.

  • Vendor & Partner Management

  • Lead coordination across multiple vendors, implementation partners, client stakeholders, and technical teams.

  • Drive partner teams to meet delivery commitments and proactively surface risks and concerns.

  • Foster strong working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups to facilitate collaboration and decision-making.

  • Navigate complex organizational dynamics and challenging project environments while maintaining delivery momentum.

  • Build alignment across business, technology, and vendor organizations.

  • Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with program leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Prepare and deliver concise, actionable status updates for program leadership and governance forums.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, document meeting outcomes, and track follow-up actions to completion.

  • Prepare meeting minutes, action items, risks, and decision logs to support effective program execution.

  • Influence decision-making through strong communication, facilitation, and executive presence.

  • Technical & Service Management Transformation

  • Support the design and implementation of an enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solution.

  • Drive alignment of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow capabilities across organizational stakeholders.

  • Partner with technical architects, platform teams, and service management stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation.

  • Understand and manage technical dependencies across systems, integrations, operational processes, and platform implementations.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly discussions and executive communications.

  • What You’ll Bring

  • Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of program and project management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives.

  • Consulting experience.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise transformations involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand enterprise platforms, systems integrations, infrastructure environments, service management processes, and technology delivery lifecycles.

  • Proven experience maintaining integrated program plans and driving accountability across large cross-functional teams.

  • Strong experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and governance processes.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience preparing executive-level reporting, status updates, action items, and governance materials.

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes within complex and challenging project environments.

  • Experience leading programs in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

  • Advanced experience with AI applications and productivity tools.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or enhancing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solutions.

  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) transformation initiatives.

  • Strong ServiceNow implementation or ServiceNow platform experience.

  • Telecommunications (Telco) industry experience preferred.

  • Experience supporting enterprise operational transformation and service management modernization initiatives.

  • Experience working across large, multi-vendor delivery environments.

  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum, or comparable program management certification.

  • Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $85 to $95/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
