About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead firmware development programs for cutting-edge wireless ASIC products. This role combines deep embedded systems and firmware expertise with strong program management to drive cross-functional execution from concept to production.

The ideal candidate will partner with silicon, firmware, hardware, validation, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality firmware solutions for next-generation wireless connectivity products.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end firmware development programs for wireless ASIC products.
• Define and drive program plans, milestones, and deliverables across silicon, firmware, hardware, validation, and product teams.
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, and proactively drive mitigation.
• Manage schedule, scope, and execution quality.
• Provide technical leadership: understand system architecture (wireless protocols like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, etc.) and SoC/ASIC firmware interactions.
• Define firmware architecture and deliverables with engineering teams; resolve technical trade-offs and dependencies.
• Drive bring-up, debugging, and issue resolution in early silicon phases.
• Act as central point of contact between Firmware, FPGA/ASIC design teams, Validation/QA, Systems/Product.
• Communicate program status to leadership and stakeholders; escalate as needed.
• Identify and manage technical risks (silicon readiness, firmware stability, interoperability) and program risks (schedule slips, resource constraints); implement escalation and recovery plans.
• Ensure firmware releases meet quality metrics, performance targets, and customer/product requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in development and release processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems/firmware development and Technical/Engineering Program Management.
• Strong understanding of embedded firmware (C/C++), RTOS/bare-metal systems, and the ASIC/SoC development lifecycle.
• Experience with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, etc.) and silicon bring-up/debugging.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in wireless chipset or semiconductor companies.
• Hands-on exposure to firmware debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers).
• Protocol stacks experience (BLE, Wi-Fi MAC/PHY interaction).
• Familiarity with Agile/Hybrid program management and CI/CD for firmware releases.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
