About this role
About the Role Fingerprint is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own end-to-end data lifecycle for our device intelligence platform—from signal collection to storage, processing, and the query/reporting experiences our customers rely on. You’ll partner with product and design to define how users interact with Fingerprint device data and translate feedback into a prioritized roadmap for Analytics Dashboard, Server APIs, and MCP experiences. You’ll drive roadmap coherence across interconnected surfaces (APIs, Dashboard, MCP Server) and collaborate with product marketing, engineering, and customer success to ensure successful releases and adoption. What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end data lifecycle for the device intelligence platform—from signal collection to query/reporting.
- Define UX and experiences for Fingerprint device data in collaboration with Product and Design.
- Translate customer feedback and internal needs into a prioritized roadmap for Analytics Dashboard, Server APIs, and MCP experiences.
- Maintain a clear, well-reasoned roadmap across APIs, Dashboard, and MCP Server; run quarterly planning; write PRDs; manage dependencies; and communicate trade-offs.
- Coordinate with product marketing to plan launches and post-launch enablement.
- Own documentation updates and drive training materials and best practices across engineering, PMM, and customer success to ensure adoption. What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Product experience: 3+ years of product management, ideally on products with both dashboard and API experiences during growth or scaling.
- Technical fluency: Ability to have credible conversations with engineers about APIs, architecture, and system constraints; API-as-a-product thinking; durable object models, versioning, and deprecation policies; experience with docs, error messages, SDK ergonomics, and workflow design.
- Stakeholder navigation: Experience managing competing priorities across individual contributors, managers, and executives; able to drive alignment without direct authority.
- Customer focus: Demonstrated track record of translating customer needs into shipped product via research, sales partnership, or usage data.
- Data fluency: Experience defining and tracking product metrics and using data to prioritize roadmaps.
- Roadmap ownership: Experience making and defending tradeoffs under resource constraints and competing stakeholder demands.
- Go-to-market partnership: Experience with sales and marketing on launches, pricing inputs, and positioning.
- Documentation: Experience owning documentation updates, migration guides, and operational runbooks in collaboration with PMM and customer experience.
- Background specifics: Roadmap for device data collection through a JS Agent (instrumentation contracts, schema evolution, reliable delivery to Server APIs); end-to-end program across ingestion, storage, and processing; balance reliability, cost, and scale; API and data access considerations for enterprise customers; familiarity with JavaScript data collection, rate limiting, latency, data residency, and authentication. Nice to Have
- Experience with identity, anti-fraud, or data intelligence platforms. Compensation & Benefits
