Aquent is partnering with a visionary leader at the forefront of autonomous mobility, dedicated to revolutionizing transportation with safe, intelligent, and production-ready vehicles. This organization is pioneering groundbreaking autonomous platforms that will redefine urban travel and shape the future of how we move.
Are you ready to be at the helm of innovation, driving the creation of next-generation autonomous vehicle platforms from concept to reality? We are seeking a dynamic and impactful leader to own the end-to-end definition, execution, and strategy for critical product areas across our current vehicle fleet and future autonomous architectures. This is your opportunity to transform pioneering ideas into safe, production-ready vehicles that will navigate public roads, directly influencing the evolution of autonomous technology.
What You’ll Do
- Chart the strategic direction: Own the vision, roadmap, and core requirement specifications for product domains spanning next-generation vehicle platforms and autonomous fleet architectures.
- Orchestrate end-to-end product development: Act as the core Product Owner, leading cross-functional teams across Hardware, Firmware, Vehicle Software, Systems Design, and Fleet Operations to bring zero-to-one features from concept to production.
- Drive hands-on validation and refinement: Partner directly with design, vehicle integration, and track teams—utilizing physical prototypes, design studios, and live vehicle testing—to validate ergonomics, performance, and user experience.
- Navigate complex trade-offs: Manage priorities across intricate engineering constraints (cost, weight, power, compute, safety, schedule) and clearly communicate decisions across leadership and engineering teams.
- Translate critical safety and operational needs: Convert rider safety requirements, fleet operation needs, and business objectives into structured technical roadmaps that align with the company’s mission.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 6+ years of direct Technical Product Management experience bringing complex, pioneering physical or digital products to market within the automotive, autonomous vehicle, aerospace, or robotics space.
- Technical Fluency: Deep technical foundation with the ability to engage credibly and make critical trade-offs alongside hardware, embedded firmware, and software engineering teams.
- Stakeholder Influence & Negotiation: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional leads and executive leadership to align on tough decisions quickly.
- Problem-Solving & First Principles: Adept at structured critical thinking, navigating ambiguous problems, and balancing long-term platform vision with short-term deployment wins.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience working across both physical hardware (mechatronics, vehicle body, sensors, compute) and embedded software stacks.
- Track record of scaling product processes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and technical integrity standards.
