Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Technical & Operations Manager to provide leadership across technical operations, project execution, service delivery, and operational performance within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company’s technical and operational activities, ensuring efficient and reliable service delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects and field operations.
• Ensure all operations are delivered in accordance with agreed quality, safety, technical, and performance standards.
• Coordinate technical teams, field personnel, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth execution of operations.
• Provide technical leadership and support in the selection, deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of equipment and operational resources.
• Monitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HSE requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, procurement requirements, and cost-control initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and other key technical and operational stakeholders.
• Review operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
• Work closely with the Business Development and Commercial teams to provide technical input into proposals, tenders, client requirements, and business opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, project progress, technical issues, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical and operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing technical teams, field operations, projects, equipment, and service delivery.
• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations, industry standards, HSE requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational priorities, resources, budgets, and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
