About the Role Alstom seeks a Technical Mechanical Advisor to provide specialized technical support to maintenance and operations teams to maintain and improve the performance, reliability and availability of rolling stock for the client EXO. This temporary position based in Lachine features a Monday–Friday day shift from 6:00 to 14:00 and is conducted on-site. What You'll Do
- Support technicians during diagnosis of faults and failures.
- Act as a coach in real-time to improve the performance of technical staff.
- Conduct rigorous follow-up on issues arising on rolling stock in service.
- Propose improvements to performance and reliability of railway equipment (locomotives and coaches).
- Represent the company to the client's technical department.
- Perform deep analysis of delays and their root causes, implementing corrective measures.
- Conduct remote diagnostics using tracking/software.
- Perform any tasks related to reliability and performance service. What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in the railway domain.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for railway equipment.
- Strong mechanical technique knowledge; basic electrical knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines & pneumatic systems.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Team spirit, customer-oriented, strong problem-solving abilities, able to work under pressure.
- Availability for operational incidents or emergencies.
