About the Role A Technical Lead at ARCOS serves as a technical leader and mentor within our agile development team, collaborating to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions while driving innovation and best practices. This role is hybrid, with in-office collaboration twice a week in Guadalajara. What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor the agile development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver UI, backend, API, and database components.
- Drive innovation, engineering excellence, and best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and help explain complex technical concepts to peers and junior engineers. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent proficiency in full-stack enterprise software development (UI, backend, API, database).
- Strong foundation in software engineering design principles and architectural patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust and scalable systems.
- Proven capability to tackle challenging technical issues.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences, ability to explain complex technical concepts to peers and junior engineers.
- Experience leveraging GenAI coding tools and Agentic development.
- Extensive experience in Agile development, continuous integration, and delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices, including defensive coding.
