About the Role You will lead the design, development, and technical oversight of custom software solutions delivered by the Global Custom Software Solutions (GCSS) team. You will provide technical leadership to Agile teams, align solutions with enterprise architecture, and promote best practices in software engineering. What You'll Do
- Lead the design and technical implementation of custom software solutions, incorporating AI-assisted design and development practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Present and defend technical designs at Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and influence key technical decisions.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and drive the adoption of AI, cloud-native, and data-driven solutions.
- Review code and technical designs to ensure quality, compliance with standards, and validation of AI-generated code.
- Guide and mentor development teams on architecture, design patterns, coding practices, and technical excellence.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including the adoption of modern engineering and AI-enabled development tools.
- Identify, assess, and resolve complex technical issues, risks, and dependencies across solutions.
- Drive observability practices, including logging, monitoring, metrics, and distributed tracing across services.
- Contribute to backlog refinement, estimation, and technical planning activities. What We're Looking For
