Job title: Technical Lead - Financial Consolidation

About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead with a strong background in financial architecture and corporate performance management to spearhead SDG Group's financial consolidation projects. You will lead initiatives from initial functional definition to final delivery and actively contribute to business proposals, while mentoring a growing team.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and foster the professional development of the financial consolidation team, and participate in recruitment and training strategies to scale the group as the business grows.
• Drive end-to-end implementations of financial consolidation systems, ensuring robust technical architecture and high-quality delivery from start to finish.
• Define financial consolidation projects from scratch, translating complex business needs into clear, efficient technical designs.
• Analyze clients' consolidation processes, offering expert advice and tailored solutions across the supported technologies.
• Manage project teams: align expectations, allocate resources effectively, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development by preparing commercial proposals for consolidation and data projects, and recommending the best platform for each client.
• Provide support and training to internal teams and clients on how to maximize the value of implemented solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience: at least 4 years in data consulting with a strong focus on CPM and financial consolidation.
• Leadership skills: track record of mentoring junior profiles and helping teams grow.
• Consolidation technology expertise: minimum 4 years implementing or managing leading consolidation platforms (OneStream, Tagetik, Anaplan, Board, Hyperion, SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting or similar).
• Financial consolidation acumen: solid functional knowledge of legal and management consolidation, including currency translation, intercompany eliminations, cash flow statements, and month-end close.
• Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
• Proactive problem-solver: able to identify bottlenecks, propose data-driven solutions, and make strategic decisions.
• Client-focused: strong commitment to client service and long-term relationships.
• Languages: fluent in English and Spanish.
