Job title: Technical Lead – Data & Analytics

About the Role SDG Group is seeking a Data & Analytics Technical Lead to drive data projects in cloud environments (mainly Azure) and serve as a bridge between clients and the technical team. You will shape architecture, standards and technical decisions, mentor the data team and ensure scalable, high-quality data solutions.

What You'll Do

• Technical leadership of the project: define architecture, standards and key technical decisions; ensure scalable solutions aligned with the client.
• Link between client and technical team: serve as a technical reference, translate functional needs into technical solutions and support the team.
• Support and mentoring of the team: guide Data Engineers, conduct technical reviews and promote best practices in development and data quality.
• Design of data solutions in cloud environment: work in cloud environments (mainly Azure) with modern data architectures; ensure integration, transformation and availability of information.
• Active technical role: participate in detailed technical decisions and resolve complex challenges when necessary.

What We're Looking For

• Technical education: Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent training.
• Strong experience in Data (8+ years): engineering and data architecture in cloud environments.
• Knowledge in modern data architectures (Lakehouse / Data Warehouse);
• Experience in Azure (Databricks), data modeling and transformation; best practices in development and data quality.
• Experience as a technical leader: ability to lead projects, make decisions and support the team.
• Ability to communicate with clients: experience working directly with clients, understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Strategic vision and focus on data quality; ability to anticipate risks and propose improvements.
• English: a plus.

Nice to Have

• Advanced English.
• Experience with dbt and Snowflake; Databricks in Azure; additional Lakehouse/Data Warehouse architecture.
