About this role
Technical Co-founder / Founding Tech Lead Europe · Remote + on-site in the Netherlands · Start alongside your current work · Milestone-based equity
99 agents. One co-founder missing.
There’s never been a better time to build. But building something is getting easier for everyone.
The interesting question: what makes it worth building and hard to copy?
Our conviction: data is the ultimate anti-commodity. Unique, useful data should be at the heart of every proposition we pursue.
We're looking for a technical founder who gets excited about that. Someone to spot opportunities with me, challenge them, build them, and turn the strongest into businesses.
What we’re getting into
We’ll explore customer problems within our network, select two propositions, and work towards product–market fit.
You bring the technical depth and the urge to make things happen. We figure out the business together.
Global ambition, a European base, and an eye on what we can learn from US speed, Chinese coordination, and Europe’s collective strengths.
You’ll probably enjoy this if…
-
You think about the customer before the stack. Who has this problem? How painful is it? Will they pay? Then: how do we solve it?
-
You’re already building. Show us something people use and tell us what you personally made happen.
-
You use AI throughout your work. Our ambition is to spend 80% of our time on creativity, strategy, people, and delivery, with AI handling as much of the rest as possible.
-
You ship, learn, and ship again. A customer using an imperfect solution teaches us something. Another month of polishing assumptions doesn’t.
-
You can own the difficult bits. Infrastructure, security, data quality, permissions, reliability. AI can help; the judgment is yours.
-
You don’t wait for a backlog. You can talk to a customer, identify the problem, and decide what to try next.
-
You stay with the outcome. When something breaks or a customer gets stuck, you help get it sorted. You care what happens after deployment.
You should be comfortable moving between a customer conversation, a product decision, and a production issue. That’s the work.
The practical part
You must be based in Europe and able to work together in the Netherlands regularly. We’ll combine remote work with in-person sessions.
We’ll start alongside our current activities until we find product–market fit, with a clear weekly commitment agreed upfront. Bring urgency, follow-through, and room in your life to build.
Remuneration starts with milestone-based equity, with milestones and ownership terms agreed before we begin. Cash compensation follows once revenue supports it.
Skip the polished cover letter. Show me something.
Apply with three short answers and take the AI intake (rubric + interview, appr 15-20 min):
-
What have you shipped? Share a link or demo, your contribution, and what happened when people used it.
-
Where do you see a customer problem with a data advantage worth building around?
-
Where are you based, how much time can you commit, and can you work together in the Netherlands?
Warm introductions from people who know your work are welcome. Please apply through this page so everything lands in one place.
If you’ve been looking for someone to build with, let’s see what we can make happen.
NOTE
At 10x, there are two types of opportunities (inhouse-jobs at 10x excluded):
-
Traditional freelance missions These are regular project-based opportunities where the listed mission is the actual project you may work on.
-
AI Lab roles to get access to the 10x platform For AI Lab roles, we scout, review, and approve profiles for access to future project opportunities and once approved you will get access to the 10x platform.
The missions listed for AI Lab roles are not traditional job openings. AI Lab work is often highly confidential as this exposes information of what an AI Lab is working on, and project requests are unpredictable. When an AI Lab request comes in, we often need to respond within 24 hours with suitable talent.
Matching depends on the specific needs of each AI Lab project and your niche expertise. Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you may be matched to relevant AI Lab projects when suitable opportunities arise.
This can happen within hours, but it may also take months, depending on the researchers at the AI labs and their project needs.
