About the Role The Technical Engineer – Electric Heating is the primary technical contact for customers across the USA and Canada, delivering accurate quotes, take-offs, and application support. You will drive sales growth by proactively engaging customers and building strong relationships, increasing specification rates and product adoption. You will enable safe, efficient, and innovative heating solutions for residential and commercial projects.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, material take-offs, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams for residential and commercial projects.
- Provide expert technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and agents, including product selection, system design, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions (virtual and in-person) to showcase solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to track performance, analyse data, and prepare technical reports.
- Maintain technical documentation such as datasheets, installation guides, diagrams, and presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 4–8 years of industry experience; electric heating experience highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a technical engineer or in the construction sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong understanding of electrical principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to travel 10–15% domestically.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 90,000 – 105,000 annually.
