Job Description We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Technical Drawing Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of technical drawing principles and the ability to make lessons practical, engaging, and easy to understand. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students develop strong technical drawing, visualisation, precision, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include teaching Technical Drawing effectively across senior secondary school levels, preparing well-structured lesson plans, instructional materials, practical exercises, and assessments. Teach concepts such as geometrical constructions, orthographic projection, isometric drawing, sectional views, building drawings, and other relevant technical drawing topics. Demonstrate proper use of drawing instruments and techniques. Encourage accuracy, creativity, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for relevant internal and external examinations. Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive learning environment. Participate actively in school activities, staff meetings, academic programmes, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of B.Sc./B.Tech/HND in Technical Education, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A PGDE, M.Ed., or other relevant teaching qualification is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of Technical Drawing principles and practices. Proficiency in the use of technical drawing instruments and relevant design/drawing software is an added advantage. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify technical concepts and demonstrate them effectively. Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students to develop practical and technical skills.
