  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $102,936 to $113,579 + super

In this role you will

Supporting the delivery of the NSW Waste and Circular Infrastructure Plan, you'll help identify and assess opportunities for future waste infrastructure across Greater Sydney. Your work will contribute to sustainable land use outcomes and long-term benefits for communities across NSW.

Working alongside specialists and stakeholders, you'll research sites, coordinate feasibility assessments and provide evidence-based insights that support informed decision making. Every day brings a new challenge as you balance competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes that make a real difference.

About you

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex information and develop practical, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and contribute to informed decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, organise workloads and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to working across teams and with external stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.

Essential

  • Degree in environmental science, planning or relevant discipline
