Job title: Technical Authority - Global Supplier Development
About the Role In this role you will act as a technical authority within ASM's Global Supplier Development function, guiding technical strategy and collaboration with external suppliers to drive innovation and performance.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical leadership in supplier development, defining standards and best practices for supplier performance and collaboration.
- Assess supplier capabilities and technologies, identifying opportunities for improvements and risk mitigation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, quality) to align supplier activities with product roadmaps and quality requirements.
- Influence supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring to ensure supplier readiness for advanced semiconductor programs.
- Mentor and coach supplier development teams to scale capabilities across regions.
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical background in supplier development, engineering or manufacturing in high-tech or semiconductor environments.
- Experience working with suppliers across global supply chains; strategic mindset with the ability to drive results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving and project management capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Global exposure or experience working with international suppliers.
- Background in advanced technologies (AI, 5G, cloud) as part of supplier ecosystems.
