Job title: Technical Associate
About the Role Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Associate to build, test, and maintain applications across front-end and back-end stacks, with cloud-native and microservices in mind. You will collaborate with developers, testers, and other team members to deliver integrated solutions, follow best practices, and contribute to code reviews.
What You'll Do
- Build, test, and maintain applications using Front-End – React and/or HTMX
- Back-End - .NET/.NET Core and/or Go Lang
- Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures for seamless system integration
- Use Entity Framework for database access in .NET applications
- Develop and work on cloud-native applications using platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
- Implement and support microservices-based solutions
- Use SQL Server for database-related tasks
- Collaborate with other developers, testers, and team members
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
- Fix bugs and support existing applications
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of hands-on programming experience in .NET/ .NET Core and/or Go (Golang)
- hands-on experience in React and/or HTMX
- Experience with Entity Framework in .NET applications
- Working knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions a big plus)
- Cloud development experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also valuable)
- Good understanding of microservices
- Experience working with SQL Server databases
- Familiar with Git and version control
- Able to write and execute unit/integration tests
- Good communication skills (spoken and written)
- Team player
- Willing to learn and adapt
