Technical Architect

About the Role The role is a Senior SAP Technical Architect focused on SAP Plant Maintenance (EAM) for HCL Technologies in Melbourne. You will drive the architecture, design, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA PM solutions, oversee ECC to S/4HANA conversions, and coordinate cross-functional integrations to meet business objectives. What You'll Do

• Act as a SAP Plant Maintenance functional consultant with 15+ years of experience, including at least 3 years as a principal solution architect.
• Lead or contribute to at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance (EAM) implementations, preferably delivered using SAP Activate methodology and Solution Manager.
• Drive conversions from SAP ECC to SoH or SAP S/4HANA, handling landscape transformation, merging, and harmonizing global templates; perform pre-checks and post-checks during the project.
• Demonstrate knowledge of S/4HANA Simplification List, BSR reporting, and conversion activities (pre-checks/post-checks) during ECC to SoH/S4HANA transitions.
• Design, implement, and deploy SAP S/4HANA PM solutions to achieve business goals using standard and custom FIORI apps.
• Lead requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, BBP documentation, sign-off, and trainings with the Core team.
• Provide hands-on SAP S/4HANA PM (EAM) configurations with cross-functional integrations to FICO, MM, SD, and PP.
• Apply expertise in Enterprise Structure, Predictive Maintenance Planning, Corrective Maintenance, Maintenance Execution, Document Imaging, Resource Scheduling, Notifications, Spare Parts Planning, Procurement of Service, and Master Data. What We're Looking For
• 15+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance functional consulting experience, including at least 3 years as a principal solution architect.
• At least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA PM implementations, preferably with SAP Activate and Solution Manager.
• Experience in at least 1 ECC to SoH/S4HANA conversion project (landscape transformation, merging, harmonizing global templates).
• Sound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Simplification List, BSR reporting, and conversion pre-checks and post-checks.
• Ability to design, implement, and deploy S/4HANA PM solutions achieving business goals using standard and custom FIORI apps.
• Strong requirements gathering, gap analysis, BBP documentation, sign-off, and core-team trainings.
• Hands-on PM configurations with cross-functional integrations to FICO, MM, SD, and PP.
• Broad knowledge of PM business processes including Enterprise Structure, Predictive Maintenance Planning, Corrective Maintenance, Maintenance Execution, Document Imaging, Resource Scheduling, Notifications, Spare Parts Planning, Procurement of Service, and Master Data. Nice to Have
• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA PM projects using SAP Activate methodology and Solution Manager is preferred.
