Technical Advisor – ECOWAP (Agricultural Policy)

About the Role Under the supervision of the Commissioner for Economic and Agricultural Affairs, the holder of this role will provide specialized technical assistance in specific technical areas for the design and implementation of regional projects in line with ECOWAS objectives. The role will also lead and manage sectors of substantive technical activities to fulfill the Institution's mandate, mobilize technical and financial resources for the regional agricultural policy, and ensure the monitoring and evaluation of all regional programs within ECOWAS. What You'll Do

• Lead the elaboration and implementation of the ECOWAP (Agricultural Policy) in the region, with a special focus on supporting the Member States.
• Mobilize technical and financial resources for regional programs.
• Provide leadership and management of key technical activities to deliver the Institution’s mandate and ensure program monitoring and evaluation across ECOWAS. What We're Looking For
• Strong technical expertise in agricultural policy and regional program design and implementation.
• Proven ability to mobilize technical and financial resources and coordinate with Member States.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluating regional programs.
• Ability to lead teams and manage complex technical initiatives.
