Technical Accounting & Reporting – SEC Reporting Operate Senior Manager Audit and Assurance | Technical Accounting and Reporting Advisory

About the Role The Deloitte Technical Accounting & Reporting – SEC Reporting practice is seeking an Operate Senior Manager in Audit and Assurance to lead and deliver technical accounting and reporting advisory services for SEC matters. This role focuses on technical accounting issues, policy interpretation, and client-ready deliverables within the firm's Technical Accounting & Reporting practice.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage technical accounting and SEC reporting engagements for clients within the Deloitte network.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, supervise project teams, and coordinate with Audit and Assurance functions.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues, US GAAP and SEC filing requirements, and financial statement disclosures.
• Collaborate with clients to analyze, document, and communicate technical accounting conclusions; contribute to risk management and quality control.
• Support business development, proposals, and knowledge development within Technical Accounting & Reporting Advisory.

What We're Looking For

• Relevant experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting, ideally in consulting or Big Four environments.
• Demonstrated leadership on client projects, ability to manage teams, timelines, and client relationships.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules, and financial reporting concepts.

Nice to Have

• Advanced degree or additional certifications; familiarity with Deloitte's TARO practice and cross-functional collaboration.
