About the Role TechLead SRE focusing on Kafka/RabbitMQ within OVHcloud's OneTeam, leading architecture decisions, ensuring QoS and SLOs, and guiding incident response, with budget and sustainability responsibilities. What You'll Do
- Ensure QoS and SLOs for the Kafka platform
- Enforce SRE best practices
- Maintain operational readiness (MCO) of the current offering
- Define the technical roadmap for the scope
- Plan sprint tasks and prioritize
- Advise customers on Kafka/RabbitMQ architectural choices What We're Looking For
- Linux expertise (system and networking)
- Experience managing Bare Metal servers and VMware VMs
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible)
- Development in Go, Python or Java
- Leadership, delegation, and the ability to make strategic decisions quickly (planning, roadmap vision, change readiness) Nice to Have
