About the Role
Intermedia is hiring a Core Systems Automation Engineer to design, automate, and support highly available production infrastructure. This fully remote role is open to candidates located in Georgia.
What You Will Do
- Build infrastructure automation with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Maintain monitoring and alerting platforms including Grafana and Zabbix.
- Integrate systems through REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.
- Support VMware and Hyper-V environments and troubleshoot production performance issues.
- Contribute to Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and cross-functional infrastructure projects.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Linux administration and production infrastructure experience.
- Hands-on scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring dashboards, alerts, metrics, and system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with APIs, source control, and virtualization platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and independent working skills.
Nice to Have
- Docker or Kubernetes experience.
- AWS or Azure exposure.
- Experience with VictoriaMetrics, Telegraf, ELK, AWX, or advanced CI/CD tooling.
