Tech_Data Sales Consultant

About the Role Join Telefónica Tech's Data Sales Consulting unit, responsible for the consultative pre-sales of AI and Data solutions. Your mission is to help customers move to a data-driven transformation by designing technical plans, project scopes and budgets, and defending proposals to win business. You will often lead consortia and engagements with public administrations and large private-sector clients. What You'll Do

• Sell consultatively on Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI and data solutions to public and private sector clients.
• Collaborate in responses to complex procurement processes in both public and private sectors.
• Design, organize and materialize consortia of companies to meet client needs.
• Build the technical and operational proposals, and the business case and pricing strategy.
• Prepare project planning and technical/economic materials; defend proposals with clients.
• Support management of high-ticket procurement processes (over 2 million euros) and multiple solutions.
• Stay informed about market solutions in Big Data, Analytics, AI and data; work toward defined objectives; participate in task force teams.
• Engage with complex clients and establish trust in the proposed solutions; contribute to strategic, technical and economic criteria when building consortia.
• Experience with public administrations as a key commercial area; advise, conceptualize the ecosystem and respond to public procurement processes. What We're Looking For
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (flexible based on candidate).
• Experience in data project consulting, technical and/or functional, in the industry sector.
• Experience designing and implementing ML solutions from exploratory analysis to production.
• Hands-on experience with AI/data productivity tools: Azure ML, Databricks, Vertex AI, Amazon SageMaker, DataRobot, etc.
• Experience designing Generative AI solutions: foundation models, RAG patterns with vector stores, agent architectures and orchestrators.
• Familiarity with architectures to operationalize models in public or private cloud.
• Familiarity with GPUs for training and inference: Nvidia AI Enterprise, CUDA-ready libraries.
• Education: Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Telecommunications, Industrial, Computer Science or related engineering; other degrees may be valued.
