Team Member

About the Role The Team Member interacts with customers and fellow team members to support selling initiatives and perform assigned tasks, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. This store-based role helps neighbors enjoy the life out here by ensuring friendly service and smooth store operations. What You'll Do

• Operate cash register/computer following Tractor Supply cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Restore merchandise to shelves, participate in mandatory freight processes, and complete Plan-o-gram merchandising.
• Assemble merchandise, perform janitorial duties, and execute price changes/markdowns.
• Safely operate equipment where permitted (e.g., forklift and cardboard baler, subject to age requirements) and maintain equipment when required.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of birds, sanitize poultry holding tanks, and care for birds as required.
• Complete all documentation associated with duties and adhere to safety policies.
• Be available for varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service by GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs, Recommend Product Solutions, Add Value, and Appreciate the Customer. What We're Looking For
• No prior experience required; retail experience or knowledge of farming, ranching, pets/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; reading, writing, and counting accurately required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict. Nice to Have
• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Propane dispensing certification (where applicable and allowed by age) and willingness to complete training. Compensation & Benefits
