Job title: Team Member – Micro Analyst

As a Team Member – Micro Analyst, you will perform comprehensive microbiological analysis and environmental monitoring activities in a regulated laboratory environment. Your primary focus will be on water quality analysis, microbial identification, and validation studies, with meticulous attention to data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Conduct sampling and analysis of water samples and environmental monitoring samples, including preparation of comprehensive water and environmental reports with accurate data entry and tracking in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Maintain microbiological reference cultures and ensure GLP compliance, prepare trend analyses for water and environmental monitoring, and manage regulatory documentation requirements. Prepare laboratory reagents, disinfectants, indicators, and volumetric solutions used in environmental monitoring protocols with proper documentation and tracking. Perform isolation and identification of reference cultures, environmental isolates, and water isolates, documenting all findings for environmental monitoring records. Execute media preparation, growth promotion tests, autoclave operation, and maintain relevant documentation in accordance with environmental monitoring standards. Manage biological indicator stock maintenance and conduct spore enumeration studies as part of environmental monitoring validation with complete record-keeping. Conduct bioburden testing and analysis on pharmaceutical and medical device samples, ensuring accurate quantification and documentation of microbial contamination for environmental compliance. Perform Microbial Limit Tests (MLT) and Analytical Method Validation protocols in accordance with pharmacopeial standards, GLP requirements, and environmental monitoring guidelines. Support disinfectant validation studies, including efficacy testing, concentration verification, analytical method validation, and preparation of validation reports with environmental impact assessment. Conduct and maintain hold time studies to establish product stability and shelf-life parameters, including sample preparation, incubation, data analysis, method validation documentation, and environmental monitoring considerations, with comprehensive documentation in LIMS for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: MSc. Microbiology / Biotechnology or a related field
• Minimum Work

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in microbiological analysis

• Technical Skills

• Proficiency in sampling and analysis of water samples, including preparation of water and environmental reports

• Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) maintenance, compliance, and record-keeping

• Experience in preparation of laboratory reagents, disinfectants, indicators, and volumetric solutions

• Skilled in isolation and identification of reference cultures, environmental and water isolates

• Proficiency in media preparation, growth promotion tests, and autoclave operation

• Competency in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) data entry, tracking, and regulatory documentation management
