About the Role
Join Continental's manufacturing team in Pune as a Team Member responsible for machine operation and supervision, ensuring quality and timely production according to factory data collection and work instructions. You will help set up machines, perform quality checks, and maintain safe, efficient operation to meet order deadlines.
What You'll Do
- Assist with adjustment, operation and supervision of machines according to regulations and work instructions, with emphasis on qualitative and punctual completion of orders.
- Set up the machine according to the machine setup plan.
- Perform quality controls and report deviations to your supervisor.
- Monitor the technical state and proper function of the machine; initiate actions in case of technical errors and report to supervisor.
- Check safety installations and ensure a safe working environment.
- Separate material with failures and ensure only non-defective products move forward.
- Conduct and document manufacturing and testing quality controls according to the inspection plan and regulations.
- Perform optical defect checks and mark defect positions on products.
- Manage resources, auxiliary materials, residuals and operating materials; ensure timely supply of subassemblies, pre-products, tools, and other materials.
- Ensure compliance with procedures defined in the function manual and IMS.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Mechanical or Plastic.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the automotive or chemical industry.
- Knowledge of Lean Production, 5S and PDCA.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in polymer processing.
