About the Role We are looking for a Team Member in Engineering to coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, oversee external contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards to keep equipment and facilities running reliably. The role involves reviewing production instructions, training team members, managing spare parts inventory, and leading troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime, while supporting budgets and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules in SAP, maintain records, and plan PMPs, breakdowns, and maintenance activities per defined frequencies.
- Oversee external contractors and agencies, ensuring safety and quality standards during maintenance operations.
- Review WI/SOPs to ensure proper implementation and adherence to quality standards.
- Train and assist team during troubleshooting/breakdowns and commissioning of new equipment to enhance skills.
- Manage spare parts inventory for electrical spares, conduct balance investigations, and implement inventory controls.
- Lead troubleshooting for electrical breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Plan and consolidate maintenance budgets for the area/unit, ensuring expenses stay within budget and optimizing cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with OEMs, external vendors, and supply chain to ensure timely availability of spares for process equipment.
- Ensure timely closure of CAPAs and address maintenance issues to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide support for technical and documentation activities at site, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain documents for audits (SOPs, formats, PM books, protocols, machine history) to ensure GMP/cGMP compliance.
- Implement Good Engineering Practices to maintain reliability, safety and efficiency of equipment and facilities. What We're Looking For
- Educational qualification: Bachelors in Engineering.
- 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on maintenance and engineering.
- 33 KV Electrical Supervisory License by AP CEIG.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and implementation of corrective actions.
- Knowledge of GMP and cGMP standards.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
