About the Role Join CFAO Mobility in Durban as a Team Member in the Advics operation. You will provide ongoing support to our customers by preparing, assembling and packing finished goods, ensuring on-time despatch and adherence to quality specifications to meet operational requirements.
What You'll Do
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) or work instructions to ensure quality and safety
- Support daily production requirements within allocated timeframes
- Ensure quality of components assembled and packaged for delivery to customers
- Support overtime requirements to meet customer/ business needs
- Conduct daily stock counts with strict FIFO adherence
- Assist with stock take preparation and participate in regular stock counts
- Submit team Kaizen ideas and near-miss reports to drive continuous improvement
- Report defects or irregularities to ensure safety and quality, especially for safety-critical components
- Record hourly and daily output and update on the control board
- Support with printing of Kanban orders to replenish stock
- Support P&A requirements
- Comply with safety standards and conduct daily housekeeping and safety walks
- Perform other duties as needed
What We're Looking For
- Matric with numeracy and literacy
- Quality inspection experience; awareness of Safety and ISO standards
- Assembly experience on a fast-moving line (preferable)
- Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Customer-centric mindset, adaptability, innovative thinking and result orientation
- Ability to work overtime and adapt to meet customer requirements
- Commitment to safety and standard compliance
- Familiarity with FIFO, Kanban, and Kaizen is a plus
Nice to Have
- Assembly experience on a fast-moving line (preferred)
