About the Role The purpose of this position is to ensure best management practices are followed in all areas of responsibility regarding departmental procedures and actions, promoting a customer-oriented service, to implement and uphold actions in line with company strategic vision and to operate the department profitably according to set targets. This role supports and manages Field Service, Workshop and site-based Teams and Controllers to ensure quality and professionalism, in order to maintain customer satisfaction and profitable operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Field Service, Workshop and site-based Teams and Controllers, providing ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and staff appraisals; compile payroll information; conduct monthly/weekly team meetings; manage leave/absenteeism; drive HR practices aligned with company objectives; ensure effective inter-departmental communication.
- Carry out routine maintenance checks and ensure service parts are available prior to attending customer sites; highlight all quoted work and liaise with customers to confirm details.
- Promote a customer-oriented service culture and uphold best practices to maintain quality and achieve department targets.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Diploma (Level 3) and 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to lead and manage teams (Field Service, Workshop, site-based) and communicate effectively across departments.
- Strong organizational skills: payroll coordination, performance management, scheduling, and leave/absenteeism management.
- Commitment to customer service and profitability.
